Tropical Cyclone Watch:

Tropical Cyclone Watch: The Tropical Disturbance (98W) or Low Pressure Area (LPA) over the Caroline Islands continues to organize and is likely to become a Tropical Depression within the next 24 to 48 hours. The developing center was located some 1,300 km East of Southern Mindanao (6.5N 138.1E). Some computer models continues to forecast this system to become a large and powerful Typhoon moving across the Philippine Sea early next week.
